Philippines Nursing Board Exam Results 2010

Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday the nursing board results given in Manila and other cities in December 2010. Weanne Myrrh Estrada of the Adventist University of the Philippines topped the 29,711 passers followed by Mary Grace Rallo (Central Luzon Doctor’s Hospital Education Institution) and Maria Kristina Bicas (Saint Louis University) in third. U.P. released the UPCAT results for school year 2011-2012. Approximately 13,000 senior high school student passed the five-hour examination of University of the Philippines College Admission Test. First Automated Philippines Election 2010

Sikat ang Pinoy

Sikat ang Pinoy kahit saang larangan
Iba-ibang lahi tayo’y hinangaan
Kasipagan natin bunga ay katanyagan
Anumang balakid ay nalalampasan

Tayo’y Pilipino sa puso at diwa
Ang pagtulong sa kapwa ay halimbawa
Ngayo’y bihira nang makita sa iba
Gayunpaman atin pa ring dinadala

Pilipinas, bansang ating sinilangan
Ilang tao’y nagbigay ng karangalan
Naging angat sila sa ibang dayuhan
Oras na para sila’y pasalamatan

Feast of Black Nazarene

Many devotees from different places of Philippines come to visit Quiapo Church for the feast of Black Nazarene. Evey 9th day of January, people gather here to join the procession accompanying the life-sized, dark-skinned statue of Jesus Christ. It is usually the single largest festival of the year in the Philippines. Today the number of devotees who joined the procession swelled to 80,000 in Quiapo, Manila.
