Pentax released two compact cameras, the Optio E80 and P80 . Both come with 6400 ISO sensor sensitivity with face/smile detection and 2.7″ LCD Display. Optio P80 has a 12 megapixel sensor, 4x optical zoom and can record 720p movies at 30 fps. While Optio E80 has a 10 megapixel, 3x optical zoom and can only captures video at 15fps only. The price of Optio P80 and E80 will be $200 and $130 accordingly.

Nikon Corporation announced the newest addition to DX-format digital SLRs, Nikon D5000. It features 2.7-inch Vari-angle LCD monitor, 12.3M Nikon DX-format CMOS, ISO 3200 sensitivity, Active D-Lighting and long-lasting shutter unit captures. It also have picture control that provides automatic image control for a wide range of shooting and EXPEED image processing system.

Eye-Fi has announced Twitter support that lets followers know when you have uploaded photos, along with a link to the new pics. These messages can even be customized for your friends to view, so feel free to concoct some funny and sarcastic remarks.
