World’s best contrast G24 gaming monitor by Acer
I’m planning to purchase a high-end desktop PC this November that can support Adobe CS3 software and games like Crisis. Looking for new workstation in Internet is very tough until I found Acer’s website. I saw their press release about Acer G24, the world’s first LCD monitor supporting advanced 50000:1 contrast ratio. This 24-inch LCD monitor is designed for extreme gaming enthusiasts. With superb widescreen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, 2-ms response, 400-nit brightness, and a host of Acer image tweaking and color management tech meant to brighten images and avoid ambient light reflection. Around back you’ll find PC-friendly DVI and game-console/Blu-ray friendly HDMI too. I’ll consider this monitor and put it on my list.
World’s thinnest notebook: MacBook Air
While searching images for my press ad design, H my co-designer sent me the latest MacBook image thru Yahoo Messenger. I’m surprised about what I saw, the world’s thinnest notebook called MacBook Air. I visited the Apple website for it’s features and wow a 13.3-inch LED-backlit widescreen display that has a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.
It weighs about 3 pounds, and sports a thickness of 0.16-0.76 inches. Its 12.8 inches wide and 8.95 inches deep. Beside that it has 1.8-inch hard disk drive with 80GB of storage, 2GB of 667MH DDR2 SDRAM and powered by Intel Core 2 Duo chip running at 1.6GHz.
I think MacBook Air will be a nice present for me this coming Christmas.
