Last night (early this morning, Singapore time) was Michael Jackson’s memorial coverage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Family, friends, colleagues and fans gathered to pay tribute and remember the King of Pop. Mariah Carey together with Trey Lorenz singing Michael Jackson’s song I’ll Be There and Usher’s heartbreaking rendition of “Gone to Soon”. Motown founder Berry Gordy pronounced MJ the greatest entertainer who ever lived. Smokey Robinson read personal messages of Diana Ross and former South Africa president Nelson Mandela.

The most touching part was MJ’s 11-year-old daughter Paris Jackson speaks about her dad and said “I just wanted to say … ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just wanted to say I love him — so much,”. Michael Jackson suffered a cardiac arrest and died at 50.
