T-Mobile G1 Launched

T-Mobile G1 phone

The first commercial phone powered by Google’s Android was launched. G1 phone was build by THC and will be commercialized by T-Mobile for $179 (2-yr contract), data plan: $35 (unlimited* internet+SMS). G1 has a 640×320 resolution touch-screen and qwerty keyboard and trackball. It’s battery life reach 5 hours of talk time and 130 hours standby time. 1GB memory and can be extended to 8GB via flashcard. Built-in GPS and can choose to black, white and brown color. T-Mobile G1 phone software has gmail, microsoft exchange support, pc/phone synchronization, web browser, media player, amazon music, mms and can copy/paste.
