One World, One Dream – this is the Olympic slogan calling upon the world to unite in the Olympic spirit. Last July 13, 2001, International Olympic Committee (IOC) awarded the Olympic Games to Beijing after an exhaustive ballot. The five Fuwa mascots of Beijing 2008 (Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, Nini) representing the Olympic rings and a symbol of Chinese Culture.
